Just look at this historical goodness!!!
Excellent!!
Number 54 (with his back to the camera) was Alabama linebacker Lee Roy Jordan. Jordan single-handedly pushed back Oklahoma, 17-0, making 31 tackles in the game.
An Alabama sophomore by the name of Joe Namath made the first scoring pass of the game.
Standing to the right of Jordan, and directly in front of the President is U.S. Senator Spessard Holland (Democrat) of Florida.
There is something quite special about Alabama.
